Curses.

Fri Sep 14, 2007, 3:29 AM
  • Listening to: The Reign of Kindo - Needle & Thread
If you've come here looking for inventive metaphorical language, I'm afraid there's none. I'm just cursing 'Curses' 'cause I missed the chance to pull off the 'this is pretty much what I said exactly a year ago' gimmick. Oh well. There's always the 'this is pretty much what I said exactly a year and a day ago' manoeuvre, although admittedly it doesn't have the same rhetorical punch.

Anyway. A quick update, as I'm sure you're all fascinated. I'm still not dead, no longer internet deprived, and starting a four year chemistry course in exactly two weeks!

Well, the drinking part anyway. The actual course starts in three.

Hope you're all being equally productive.

Nice to see new stuff going up, I've been meaning to comments but I don't get enough time on the PC to reflect properly...

Anyhow, how did results day go? Mine went rather well XD Hope the same goes for you.
:iconsalmonofdoubt:
No worries! I haven't exactly been commenting much myself. But it's good to hear from you - who else would 'reflect' on my work? :P

Incidentally, where's yours?

Results went fine, thank you! I'm happy. And I know you're longing to be asked, so what did you get? *grin* And what's the plan for this year?

I do have a life! Plenty, in fact. I just took five last week and haven't disposed of them yet.

Work? The meaning of the word eludes me, I suppose the mind works best under a certain degree of stress, and that just hasn't happened.

Results were better than expected (AAAAaa) XD so everybody wins, except maybe the people who wanted to get into my course, but didn't quite. Though, arguably they will go to a place better suited to their abilities. >.< And luck :D Largely, luck.
